The PWBA Classic Series - Dallas is the second Classic Series event on the 2022 PWBA Tour schedule and will conclude the 2022 season. The maximum field size for this event is 145 competitors.
The three national tour stops during the Classic Series - Dallas will be:
Aug. 2-4, PWBA Dallas Classic
Aug. 5-6, PWBA Pepsi Classic
Aug. 7-9, PWBA Tour Championship (major on PWBA Tour schedule)
The format for the PWBA Dallas Classic and PWBA Pepsi Classic will consist of two six-game qualifying blocks, with 12-game totals determining the top 12 athletes advancing to round-robin match play. Match play will consist of two six-game rounds, including a position round, with the top five bowlers, based on total pinfall and bonus pins, advancing to the stepladder finals.
The third national event - the PWBA Tour Championship - will feature the top 24 players from the PWBA Dallas Classic and PWBA Pepsi Classic.
The combined qualifying scores (24 total games - 12 from each event) will determine the 24 finalists for round-robin match play. Qualifying totals will not be carried into the PWBA Tour Championship. At the conclusion of match play, the top five bowlers, based on total pinfall and bonus pins from 24 games of match play, will advance to the stepladder finals.
