PWBA National Tour schedule announced for 2027

ARLINGTON, Texas – While the 2026 Professional Women’s Bowling Association National Tour is just weeks away from starting, it’s never too early to look ahead to 2027 and where the PWBA National Tour will go next.

The 2027 PWBA Tour season will include 12 events from May to August and start with three first-time hosts of National Tour stops since the tour relaunched in 2015.

The 2027 season kicks off with a trip to Rumford, Rhode Island, at East Providence Lanes from May 6-8 for the first standard event of the season. East Providence Lanes previously hosted regional events in 2020, 2024 and 2026.

The season’s second standard event will take place at Mid County Lanes and Entertainment in Middletown, Delaware, from May 13-15.

The first major of the season, the United States Bowling Congress Queens at New Victory Lanes in Mooresville, North Carolina, follows from May 19-25. Jillian Martin and Josie Barnes have been the most recent winners of the major event, with no repeat winner since Katsuko Sugimoto from 1981-1982.

After a one-week break, the tour heads to Green Bay, Wisconsin, from June 1-7 for the 2027 PWBA Summer Series at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley, where three stand-alone events will take place over the course of one week. Ashwaubenon is no stranger to high-level bowling competitions after hosting the USBC Queens in 2024, qualifying for the 2025 PWBA Anniversary Open and serving as a host center during the 2025 Junior Gold Championships.

The tour heads back east to Lansing, Michigan, at Royal Scot Bowl from June 10-12 for the third standard event of the season. Royal Scot Bowl has played host to a number of high-level events, including the 2022 Junior Gold Championships.

For the sixth time since 2016, ABC Gates Bowl in Rochester, New York, will host a PWBA event as the 2027 U.S. Women’s Open heads to the historic center from June 15-22. ABC Gates Bowl has become a mainstay on the PWBA schedule in recent years, hosting the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open, 2025 PWBA Tour Championship Week and 2026 PWBA Summer Series.

After a scheduled break, the tour heads into the home stretch of the season with the annual Professional Bowlers Association/PWBA Striking Against Breast Cancer Mixed Doubles event in Houston at Copperfield Bowl from July 29-Aug. 1.

The final stop of the 2027 season will be at Boardwalk Bowl in Orlando, Florida, for Tour Championship Week. Boardwalk Bowl has previously hosted PWBA Regional events, most recently the 2026 PWBA Orlando Regional.

PWBA Tour Championship Week will take place from Aug. 10-17 and feature three tournaments in a seven-day span like the Summer Series. The first two will be stand-alone events, and the third will be the PWBA Tour Championship, the final major of the 2027 season.

To qualify for the Tour Championship, a player must be in good standing with the PWBA and have won a National Tour title during the 2027 season. Aside from champions, the remainder of the 24-person Tour Championship field will be filled from the 2027 PWBA points list through the most recent tournament preceding the Tour Championship.

BowlTV will provide exclusive, live coverage of all qualifying and match-play rounds for each PWBA event in 2027. BowlTV and national TV coverage of the finals of each 2027 event will be announced at a later date.
