ARLINGTON, Texas – Although the Professional Women’s Bowling Association Tour is about to start the 2025 season, the tour’s 10th season since relaunching in 2015, it’s never too early to think about the 2026 season.
The 2026 PWBA Tour season will include 12 events from April to August, all at centers that are no strangers to high-level competition.
The 2026 season kicks off in Rockford, Illinois, at the historic Cherry Bowl, where the PWBA Rockford Open will take place April 30 - May 2. The Cherry Bowl hosted a national tour stop in 2024, which saw Malaysia’s Sin Li Jane return to the winner’s circle for her first of four wins that season on her way to PWBA Player of the Year honors.
After Rockford, the tour heads west to Greeley, Colorado, where Highland Park Lanes plays host to the PWBA Northern Colorado Open from May 7-9. This will be the first time that Highland Park Lanes will hold a national tour stop since the PWBA’s relaunch after previously hosting PWBA Regional events in 2023 and 2024.
The PWBA Tour stays west with a stop in Las Vegas for the season’s first major, the United States Bowling Congress Queens, which will take place at a center that has yet to host the relaunched PWBA Tour, Gold Coast Bowling Center. The 2026 USBC Queens will run from May 13-19 and see the best female bowlers in the world duke it out for the coveted tiara and a $60,000 top prize.
After the Queens, the tour heads to the East Coast as ABC Gates Bowl in Gates, New York, will host the PWBA Summer Series from May 26 - June 1. Three standalone events will take place at ABC Gates over the course of one week, each with their own format. ABC Gates Bowl will host the season-ending Tour Championship Week to close out the 2025 PWBA Tour season.
After New York, the 2026 PWBA Tour heads to Ohio for the first of two stops in the state with the PWBA Columbus Open June 4-6 at HPL Bowling Center in Columbus, Ohio, before the season-ending Tour Championship Week concludes the season in Parma Heights, Ohio. This will be HPL Bowling Center’s first time hosting a PWBA National Tour stop since the relaunch.
The tour then heads to Royal Pin Woodland in Indianapolis as it plays host to the second major of the year: the U.S. Women’s Open from June 9-16. That will mark the second time in three years Woodland hosts the PWBA Tour’s most prestigious major championship.
After the U.S. Open, the tour will take an extended break before the annual Professional Bowlers Association/PWBA Striking Against Breast Cancer Mixed Doubles event July 30 – Aug. 2 in Houston at Copperfield Bowl. Each winner of the event will earn a title for their respective tours.
The 2026 PWBA Tour season will close in Parma Heights, Ohio, at Yorktown Lanes with PWBA Tour Championship week. Yorktown Lanes will host the 2025 PWBA Summer Series – Cleveland and has hosted a PWBA National Tour or Regional Tour event seven times since 2019.
PWBA Tour Championship Week will take place Aug. 11-18 and feature three tournaments in a seven-day span similar to the Summer Series. The first two will be stand-alone events, and the third will be the PWBA Tour Championship, the final major of the 2026 season.
To qualify for the Tour Championship, a player must be in good standing with the PWBA and have won a national tour title during the 2026 season. Aside from champions, the remainder of the 24-person Tour Championship field will be filled from the 2026 PWBA season points list through the most recent tournament preceding the Tour Championship.
BowlTV will provide exclusive, live coverage of all qualifying and match-play rounds for each PWBA event in 2026. BowlTV and national TV coverage of the finals of each 2026 event will be announced at a later date.
